IMT Precision's assembly department delivers complete, ready-to-install assemblies rather than boxes of loose components. Our team handles hardware installation, press-fit operations, thread insert installation, and full mechanical assembly on site.

Integration with Our Other Capabilities

Because assembly happens alongside machining, welding, and inspection under one roof, a part can move from CNC machining to welding to inspection to final assembly without leaving our 50,000 sq. ft. facility. This single-source approach reduces lead time, eliminates inter-vendor coordination, and gives you a single point of accountability for the finished assembly.

Press & Insertion

• PEMSerter Press — 6 tons / 53.4 kN, 18" throat depth, capacity M2/#0 through M10/3/8" in steel, up to M12/1/2" in aluminum
• Dake 50H Hydraulic Press — 50-ton capacity for installing/removing pins, bearings, seals, and bushings

Thread Inserts

• All sizes and types: Helicoils, Keenserts — locking, non-locking, tangless, and pressed-in varieties

General Assembly

• Torque-controlled devices and standard shop tooling for flanges, hinges, doors, blankoffs, and mechanical subassemblies
• Handling equipment for large and heavy components
